With their unmistakable blend of metal, pop, gothic rock, dark wave, and even reggae, Raido make an impressive comeback. Founded in 2008 by Bella and Zottel, and always accompanied by a rotating cast of guest musicians, the band quickly made a name for themselves on the international scene. Their first hit single, Julian A., rapidly garnered public attention and led to features in the Italian Me! Magazine and the German Darkspy Magazine. They also received support from renowned artists such as David Readman (Pink Cream 69, Voodoo Circle), who continues to work closely with Bella.

The breakthrough came in 2012 with the worldwide release of the single „A Killer,“ which earned Raido a steadily growing fanbase. A year later, with their album „The Quest,“ they fulfilled the wishes of many fans for a full-length album – laying the foundation for their international success.

After intense years of promotion, collaborations, and tours, the duo took a break and relocated to the Vosges Mountains in 2019. While Bella dedicated herself to sheep farming and wool processing, while also deepening her vocal training, Zottel built his own studio and focused on songwriting, mixing, and mastering. The creative hiatus brought new energy—and new music.

Raido’s signature sound remains: rocking guitar riffs, atmospheric synthesizers, and Bella’s distinctive voice, combined with sophisticated lyrics that address topics such as Julian Assange, love, breakups, and the will to survive. Bella’s international life experience—including time spent in Australia and the UK—is reflected in linguistic nuances that fans can continually rediscover. Even renowned DJs like Josh Grape have been inspired to create remixes, contributing to their ever-growing fanbase.
